This has actually been the one link-up that I’ve followed since it started. So I am incredibly honored that I am now able to co-host it! For the non-bloggers out there, you might be wondering what a “link-up” even is… Well, it’s a place where bloggers from all over can come share their best posts that go along with the link-up’s theme. That means it is a “one-stop-shop” for readers because … Continue reading

Pack Your Bags for a Tour Through Blogland!

Since beginning this new venture in blogging, I’ve started reading and following numerous blogs. It is really fun to virtually “meet” these people, and to have them invite readers into their lives! The number one thing I’ve learned since starting this blog, is that bloggers are so nice and incredibly supportive of each other! I just wanted to take a few moments to explain where my heart and my head are this week. On Wednesday, August 6, 2014, it will be 1 year since my husband, Chaz, passed away. I’ve seen it referred to as a “deathiversary.” But I do NOT like that word. I’ve just been calling it “the 1-year mark.” Obviously, the past few weeks have been extremely difficult. And as this impending week began, my emotions have been running haywire. As I mentioned in my post The Truth About Young Widowhood, I want to be open and honest about life as … Continue reading

3-Month Blog Reflection and Goals

My 3-month “blogiversary” is coming up on Friday!  Woohoo! 🙂 So, I’ve been reflecting on my blog again.  Why am I writing this?  What do I hope to achieve? I want to give people a look inside this life.  I know people see stories like mine on the news, or hear about it from friends of friends.  I know they … Continue reading
