Christmas Coloring Pages – Free Printable Greeting Cards

Free printable Christmas coloring pages - These printable Christmas greeting cards are the perfect way for your kids to spread cheer this holiday season!

As I work with my kids to teach them about kindness and helping others, one of our favorite activities has become delivering cards to seniors and the elderly. Since the holiday season is quickly approaching, I have created some simple Christmas coloring pages of printable greeting cards so we can give out Christmas cards during our next visit. And I’ve made these available for free download at the end of this post! With the Christmas coloring pages, the kids are able to put their own personal touch into each card while also giving the printable greeting cards a more handmade appeal. 31 Days of Gratitude #Gratitoday Photo Challenge

Love the reason behind this 31 Days of Gratitude #Gratitoday Photo Challenge and that it's related to Acts of Kindness! Definitely joining in! www.MePlus3Today.com

I’ve been working on completing 32 acts of kindness for Chaz’s 32nd birthday, which is on July 3. I’ll have a blog post soon about how everything turned out, but until then, you can check out the Facebook event here and last year’s series of 31 Acts of Kindness for his 31st birthday here. While I am repeating some of the kindness activities we did last year, I have also been trying to figure out new and creative ways to be kind. It has been a really fun project to work on and research. One act of kindness that I … Continue reading

Act of Kindness Idea: Christmas Gift Wish List with MyRegistry.com

Thank you MyRegistry.com for sponsoring this post! All opinions given are entirely my own.  Every day, I walk through our living room and look at all the toys the kids have. They have more toys than they know what to do with! But they aren’t really old enough to want any more toys either. They just don’t realize how much is actually out there yet. It’s me who wants for them. Around Christmas, it’s me making their gift wish list. It’s me asking for more stuff for them.  But this year, I’m going to do something different. I am going to … Continue reading

How to Help Series #2: 7 Ways to Help a Nurse

Have you been to a doctor’s office or hospital lately? Then chances are you’ve come in contact with a nurse. Have you ever thought about what that nurse does all day? Have you ever wondered what simple things you could do to help him/her? Yes? No? Maybe? Well, I have thought about it. But it didn’t happen until I was in the hospital after giving birth to my twin girls. It felt like the nurses did EVERYTHING! I was shocked, and I actually felt a little guilty about what they were doing for me. Every time a nurse came in … Continue reading

31 Acts of Kindness – Part 4 – The Final 9

I have FINALLY completed all 31 Acts of Kindness in memory of Chaz for his 31st birthday! And I feel so good about it! I found this quote from Booker T. Washington that totally fits with what I have been doing over the past few weeks. What he said is so true!  Performing these acts of kindness definitely raised my spirits during an incredibly difficult time.  It gave me something to focus on and work towards.  And it has really inspired me to continue on this journey of kindness. Well, if you missed the first 3 posts of my 31 … Continue reading

31 Acts of Kindness – Part 3 – 5 More!

As I described in my first post in this 31 Acts of Kindness series, I am coping with Chaz’s 31st birthday by CREATING happiness.  My goal was to complete all 31 acts in just 1 week, but it is taking me a little longer than that… I think I am now into my 2nd week of working on this. But I’m OK with that because I am still working on accomplishing all 31!! 🙂 You can check out what I’ve done so far in the following posts: Part 1 – The First 5 Part 2 – The Next 12 And … Continue reading

31 Acts of Kindness – Part 2 – The Next 12

Like I described in my first post of the series, I am doing 31 Acts of Kindness in memory of Chaz for his 31st birthday.  Because 31 acts would create a lengthy post, I have split them up into a series.  This is the second post in my 31 Acts of Kindness Series. You can click here to check out Part 1 – The First 5 acts. Here are Acts of Kindness #6 through #17: 6)  I anonymously brought in cookies for my co-workers.  I just set them in a public area, and people were able to grab them as … Continue reading

31 Acts of Kindness – Part 1 – The First 5

After losing a loved one, EVERY holiday is hard.  At least, it is for me. Even those that seem really insignificant, like Sweetest Day, still bring on a fresh new wave of sadness. But I have made it through each new holiday.  Some with A LOT more tears than others.  Both Christmas and Will’s birthday all ended with me literally laying in the middle of the kitchen bawling my eyes out.  But at least I made it through… Now, the next REALLY difficult holiday is coming up. Chaz’s birthday. He should be turning 31 on July 3… I can’t even … Continue reading
