Free Printable Bucket Filler Valentines for Kids – You Fill My Bucket

Spread the message of kindness throughout your child's classroom with these Bucket Filler Valentine's Day cards! - Free Printable "You fill my bucket, Valentine!"

With the kids starting preschool, last year was the first time they exchanged Valentine’s Day cards with their friends. And Valentine’s Day happens to be one of my favorite holidays! Of course, it is also my birthday, so I might be a little biased… But there are other reasons I love it too! If you’ve read any other posts in my blog, you probably know how important the concept of kindness is to me. And Valentine’s Day is just another great opportunity to spread a little extra love and kindness throughout our communities. It is also important to me that the kids … Continue reading

Free printable Christmas coloring pages - These printable Christmas greeting cards are the perfect way for your kids to spread cheer this holiday season!

As I work with my kids to teach them about kindness and helping others, one of our favorite activities has become delivering cards to seniors and the elderly. 31 Days of Gratitude #Gratitoday Photo Challenge

Love the reason behind this 31 Days of Gratitude #Gratitoday Photo Challenge and that it's related to Acts of Kindness! Definitely joining in! www.MePlus3Today.com

I’ve been working on completing 32 acts of kindness for Chaz’s 32nd birthday, which is on July 3. I’ll have a blog post soon about how everything turned out, but until then, you can check out the Facebook event here and last year’s series of 31 Acts of Kindness for his 31st birthday here. While I am repeating some of the kindness activities we did last year, I have also been trying to figure out new and creative ways to be kind. It has been a really fun project to work on and research. One act of kindness that I … Continue reading

Weather-Themed Word Tracing Printables

Love these FREE weather-themed word tracing printables! Great idea for a weather learning unit this spring & summer for preschoolers! - www.MePlus3Today.com for Totschooling.net

Last week, I was honored to be able to write a guest post for Totschooling, an amazing blog full of early learning ideas, activities, and resources. For the post, I decided to share several weather-themed word tracing printables that are perfect for preschoolers. Because it is spring, and summer is just around the corner, I decided to focus the worksheets on common weather types for these seasons. The 6 types included on the word tracing printables are: sunny, raining, thunder, cloudy, lightning, and windy. All letters are upper-case. I might try to create a lower-case version soon! My 3-year-old twin … Continue reading

High 5 Today Campaign – Make a Difference Monday

High 5 Today Campaign - Join this kindness campaign to encourage and empower rather than tear each other down. - www.MePlus3Today.com

For a while, I thought the “mommy wars” were imaginary. That they were actually self-inflicted because we were all being too hard on ourselves. We were comparing ourselves to some nonexistent ideal of the perfect mother. This thought came to me when I noticed that highly shared posts on social media are those about ending the “mommy wars.” Seriously, how many times did you see this Similac commercial in your newsfeed? I also often see posts about the struggles of motherhood and how we can all relate to each other. This led me to think that we really are all on the same team. We are all looking … Continue reading

Summer Bucket List Ideas

Last summer started out as one of the best summers of my life. And then it ended up being my worst. It’s weird how we could go from such an incredible high, to the absolute lowest low. But I am grateful that our summer started off so amazing, and that we were able to make those incredible memories together.  I will ALWAYS remember the fun we had, and I will continue to tell our kids all about those wonderful times too. I’m not going to lie, before having kids, Chaz and I were pretty darn lazy. 🙂  As the weather … Continue reading
